Who we are

Cultivate offers nature based educational, vocational and therapeutic services for children and teens. To provide a private, sensory friendly setting for our services, Cultivate leases space at Songyard Farms-a sustainable micro farm specializing in flowers, herbs, dairy goats and more!

At Cultivate, we believe in the healing power of nature, as well as the joy and connection that animals can provide for children of all abilities!

We also believe programs and spaces should exist with sensory needs and supports for individuals with different abilities in mind first and foremost, while also being available to the general public for resources and enjoyment. True understanding, acceptance and support comes from experience. This is why Cultivate’s educational programs are available to all children in our community while maintaining understanding and acceptance of the unique needs of children who attend our programs.

Cultivate was founded by Stacy Cianciolo, a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst, mother of 3 and avid nature lover and enthusiast. Stacy has been working with children with autism and related diagnoses for over 25 years. She has also studied permaculture, organic gardening and woodland management. Stacy grew up attending and volunteering at a local nature center and community educational farm and gardens in the Dayton, Ohio area and has long dreamed of creating a space that can provide the sort of education, joy and opportunities for children and teens in our local Chagrin Valley community.
